Once again it’s been a while and once again it’s not because we’re lazy or out enjoying the sun; there just hasn’t been anything that has made us sit up and want to say anything. William and Mary should have been great but (what are we calling the Irag thing, ah that’s right…) current world situations, meant it was pushed forward by the news and overlapped with 24. So when going head to head didn’t really get a look in. Ditto for Hardware although that does appear to be quite dire. The second series of 24 doesn’t seem as compelling as the first although every time we say that it seems to crank up the excitement. But somehow still a tad on the dull side.
There are the latest series of er and The West Wing (if you can find it in the schedules) doing the rounds on C4, but lovemytv has already seen them on E4. Ali G doesn’t seem as funny although there are hilarious moments but the in the USAiii show feels stretched to breaking point.
40 was great whatever anybody else says as we would have raved about it at the time but we were too busy trying to find time to watch 3 hours of TV within a week to do much else.
And this Millionaire thing. Over produced documentary made the whole thing look like a farce and much imitated Martin Bashirs presence didn’t help matters. Cheating or not cheating he wasn’t guaranteed the right answers in fact it was no different from the couples show. And was it just us or apart from the obvious u turns did he not get most of the answers right on his first guess. And don’t have a go at the poor mad fool for not knowing the easy Coronation Street question. If you’ve never seen it you’re not going to know and that makes it a hard question. The £1 million question was a lot easier by comparison because.
