At Home With The Braithwaitesshouldn’t work; it’s prime time ITV which rarely spells out quality, it’s far fetched and full of OTT acting. But the thing is, it really does work and fantastically so. After the first series it was hard to imagine how on earth a second series would work let alone this, the fourth one. It’s down to the excellent writing which forces believable characters into unbelievable situations.

Oh My God! Forgive the 18-30 shriek of excitement but it seems somewhat apt after just watching the 2nd episode of Boys and Girls. Who knows if the format is going to vary slightly from week to week or if there were brainstorming sessions through the week? But whatever was niggling about last weeks show seems to have thoroughly ironed out in time for this weeks programme. Fantastic. But losing everything seems so painful, especially if last weeks irritant had lost the phone vote she could have kept one of the items she’d bought. Poor girl.
