Loyal (non-existent) visitors, we haven't forgotten and abandoned you already. It just seems that despite the amount of high quality tv over the last week or so there hasn't really been anything that has made lovemytv sit up and want to say something.
Cold Feet ended with an emotionally hard hitting finale, that served the entire series well. Although we can't help but think Frank Skinners final shot would at least bring a smile to our faces. In Badiel and Skinner Unplanned he suggested if all the characters had been killed off the final shot could have been of six blanked covered corpses lying on morgue tables with, yes you've guessed it, only their cold feet sticking out.
The final episode of the penultimate series of Dawsons Creek started with a dream flash forward into the near future where, shock horror, Dawson and Joey hadn't spoken for years. All of this just made lovemytv cynical about the rumours of flash forward last ever episode providing a wedding and some closure. Sometimes happy endings aren't a good thing. Anything this is just another excuse to have another bitch at C4 for abandoning the final series, its bad enough having it chastised every week by the decreasingly talented T4 presenters.
C4 must still be congratulated for getting the new series of er on air so shortly after E4. The opening episode was completely fantastic with a shock that actually shocked as lovemytv didn't know it was coming. It's hard to imagine how things could get better but this series continues to excel each week. Is this the best series yet?
Double Take is currently as close as art as TV comes. It's also one of the funniest things around at the moment. The "funniest things on tv" crown unquestionably still goes to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Even when it isn't on top form its still miles ahead of any other comedy currently doing the rounds. Even when you know what is coming it still delivers. If you're not watching it we can only hope that its because its hidden away in the depths of obscurity on BBC4.
